FUN FOOTBALL PHRASES
Here's a little game for you. Please comment with your favorite amusing football phrase. For instance, Harvey and I can't help but giggle whenever we hear an announcer proclaim, "He's got a great hole!"
So what football terminology tickles your tailfeather?
Let's see who can come up with the best one! If I get enough, I'll post the best ones.

BLOG TSUNAMI TIDBITS
Since there have been many fine renditions written on the Straight White Guy's blog tsunami already, I'm only going to write on the things I haven't read yet. Specifically, the food and drink.
For instance, the food. The food was awesome! I can't speak for Friday, but Saturday was awesome. Eric bought approximately 20 pounds of ribs and cooked them up in his special sauce. Yes, he spent over 4 hours slaving over a hot barbecue for all of us, and it was delicious!
We had yummy garlic bread, salad, and wonderful desserts provided by Tammi of Tammi's World and Bou of Boudicca's Voice.
And the liquor! Oh my God !!! That man has more alcohol than some liquor stores I have been at. He has three separate areas he keeps all of the booze in! Not to mention people brought alcohol to the party, too.
On Sunday, we went to Shoney's and had a wonderful breakfast buffet before everyone left. I had a bottomless pit that morning and stunned everyone with the amount of food I ingested.
That evening, we went Eric, his lovely wife, Harvey and I went to Castillos, a local Mexican restaurant. I had a delicious Castillo salad. It was so big, I got to take some back with me, (and later ate it waiting for our plane to arrive).
The following morning, Eric cooked breakfast for us. He actually made me garlic eggs. Although I am a garlicaholic, I had never thought to put it in eggs before. It was very, VERY good.
In addition to the great company, it was a great gastronomical experience!

THE LAST WORD
Usually I try and capture a great blogger get together by noting a bunch of quotations. However, the "blog tsunami" at Eric the Straight White Guy's place was just too much of a whirlwind. Too many great bloggers with quick wits for me to keep up with. So I will just sum up the party with Eric's quote.
After everyone had left (except for Beloved Husband and I, the malingerers who stayed until Monday), and Eric surveyed his still intact, yet slightly decimated domicile, he proclaimed, "My lips are chapped!"
One hopes his lovely wife soothed his aching lips after we left.

PO'd at TO
Anyone else sick of hearing about "TO" (Terrell Owens)??
Give it a break. The man is a jerk. The more the media talks about him, the more he likes it and the more his ego gets inflated.
We've dealt with his ilk before...Keyshawn Johnson, Randy Moss. They are very talented athletes who play great when they are happy with their contracts or if they are actually in contention for play-off money. However, when their contract looms or they are struggling with personality conflicts, they just shut down. Showing up for the game in person, but not in spirit.
Enough said. The Eagles organization knew what they were getting when they went into the deal. Idiots on both sides of the ball.

HALLOWEEN BASH
Went to a killer Halloween party last night. (Of course, not as good as the blog tsunami at Eric the Straight White Guy's place and there will be more about that later...), but still good.
So, just for curiosity sakes...anyone know how you clean dried blood, skin, and brain matter out of clothes? Just an idle question that popped into my head...
